Quality Inspector Responsibilities\n
(To include but not limited to the following)\n
Client Relationship & Business Development\n\nThe Quality Inspector acts as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.\n\n
Operations\n\nThe Quality Inspector performs quality inspection \/ quality audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use.\nContains non-conforming parts and\/or sub-assemblies.\nRectifies non-conforming material by rework, sorting and\/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader.\nUses methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and\/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material.\nDetermines the tools and equipment needed to do the job.\nGrinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and\/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment.\n\n
Organization & Management\n\nCommunicate sort\/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source.\n\n
Technical \n\nMUST be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and\/or sanders to repair and\/or clean parts and\/or sub-assemblies.\nUtilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.\n\n
