**Job Title: Quality Inspector** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift to ensure the highest standards of quality and precision in our manufacturing processes. **Responsibilities** + Inspect incoming materials, taking basic measurements to verify against packing slips and item descriptions. + Review material certifications as required by inspection plans and ensure they match specifications. + Record data and scan documents as needed for manufacturing and quality purposes. + Perform additional inspection on 'Enterprise Critical' items. + Notify the Quality Manager of any discrepancies in incoming inspections or quality concerns on products. + Conduct first piece inspection and ongoing in-process inspection of manufactured and other products, including weld metal. + Perform shop audits to ensure compliance with quality standards. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. + Complete other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in quality inspection and first piece inspection. + Ability to read and use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers. + Competence in using quality control equipment like hardness testers. + Ability to interpret blueprints. + Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. + Excellent communication and organizational skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection environment is advantageous. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values precision and quality, offering opportunities for professional growth in a supportive and safe work environment. **Work Environment** The position is based in a well-equipped manufacturing facility, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment.
