Our client is looking for a responsible Quality Inspector. This is a Direct Placement/ Temp to Hire position with our key Manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need an add the degree and how many years of experience they need to have for the role.

 

Job Responsibilities:

·         Read and interpret applicable mechanical drawings and specifications.

·         Select and utilize inspection equipment to perform the required inspection and testing. Complete inspection reports as required.

·         Perform Receiving, In-process, and Final Inspection on customer supplied and/or purchased components/materials.

·         Perform Quality In-Process Audits as required by approved work instructions.

·         Monitors the production process for compliance with all Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering work instructions and specifications.

·         Check all Measurement and Test Equipment used for acceptable condition and adherence to Calibration work instructions.

·         Assist other company functions in meeting customer requirements.

·         Willing to cross-train across others in-shop disciplines/ inspection disciplines

·         Willingness to work with shop personnel to induct incoming parts and aid in the expeditious shipment of critical parts

 
Requirements 5+ years relevant Aerospace Parts Inspection experience
Prior aerospace manufacturing experience preferred
Knowledgeable in the use of measuring instruments and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, thread gages, etc.
Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings and other technical documents
Good communication skills
Possess strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
Demonstrates initiative and be able to work independently with limited supervision.
Ability to work under pressure in meeting time schedules
Ability to work effectively with employees
Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, good communication skills
High school graduate or equivalent
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
Adaptability to different inspection methods
