Quality Inspector
Job Title: Quality InspectorJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector with a strong background in IPC-610 to join our team. The role involves inspecting and testing small parts during the manufacturing and machining process to ensure they meet exacting dimensional and customer specifications.

ResponsibilitiesInspect first piece, in-process, and final products for compliance with specifications.Work from semi-complicated specifications and drawings to verify product characteristics.Ensure product compliance by checking against documentation and verifying inspection methods in SAP.Verify shipments match part numbers and purchase order requirements.Check vendor certifications and conduct Workstation Audits as needed.Inspect parts for count, finish, quality of workmanship, and general appearance.Make final determinations if parts meet inspection criteria.Generate Defective Material Reports for non-conforming products.Promote continuous improvement initiatives.Essential SkillsProficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and rulers.Experience with Pin Gauges and metric conversion.Computer literacy, especially in SAP ERP system.Ability to communicate effectively and work with small, fragile parts.Experience with quality control and inspection methodologies.Additional Skills & QualificationsIPC-610 certification is a must.Experience with optical comparators and microscopes.Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO environments.IPC 620 Certification is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This is a day shift position, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The work environment may include exposure to temperature variations, chemical agents, and moderate to loud noise levels. The role requires physical activity, including sitting, standing, and handling objects, with the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
