**Job Title: Quality Inspector** Pay: $20 an hour Shift: 1st & weekend shift Location: Shelbyville, KY **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled quality inspector who understands and embodies our core values and beliefs. This role requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to effectively understand project requirements. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. + Measure, cut, and assemble metal parts using tools like saws, grinders, and torches. + Inspect welded surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. + Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. + Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure a clean and organized workspace. + Comply with industry regulations and company policies. + Identify defects or issues with welding equipment and perform minor repairs or maintenance. + Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each task. + Complete reports and documentation as required by the project or supervisor. **Essential Skills** + Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. + Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, typically up to 50 pounds. + Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights. + Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods of time. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Shelbyville, KY 40065. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
