**Job Title: Quality Inspector** **Job Description**
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that precision machined components meet established quality standards. You will work with advanced measurement equipment to verify specifications and collaborate with various teams to resolve quality issues. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety practices are essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Inspect parts according to established quality plans and specifications.
+ Utilize measurement equipment to ensure precision machined components meet specifications.
+ Prioritize the inspection process and meet shipping and receiving schedules.
+ Collaborate with Quality Team members and production departments to resolve quality problems.
+ Communicate with appropriate staff regarding non-conformance findings.
+ Input inspection findings into the computer database.
+ Follow established safety practices and requirements.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in using measuring equipment such as micrometers and hand gauges.
+ Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), specifically Zeiss equipment.
+ Strong skills in inspection and quality control.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with calipers and visual inspections.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Strong written documentation skills.

**Work Environment**
This facility is dedicated to providing solutions for demanding machined parts applications in the automotive and aerospace industries. With over half a century of experience, the company invests in both advanced technologies and its employees through continuous improvement and education programs. The work environment is air-controlled, well-lit, and organized, with a slight smell of oil and metal. The facility houses 120 CNC machines, including mills and lathes, and features a modern break room and training area.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover Park, IL.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
