Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Inspector specialized in dimensional inspection of aerospace components to join our team. The role involves ensuring full conformance to blueprints, customer specifications, and certification requirements. This position is entirely onsite at our East Hartford plant.
Responsibilities
Conduct dimensional inspections of aerospace components to ensure compliance with blueprints and customer specifications.Perform in-process and final inspections with an even 50/50 split.Review and generate First Article Inspection Reports (FAI), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documents, and ECAV submissions.Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical challenges and customer issues.Audit inspection processes and generate comprehensive inspection reports.Essential Skills
Minimum of 5 years of aerospace inspection experience.Active GE or Collins DQR certification, or previously held with the ability to recertify quickly.Proficient in inspection tasks, including first article inspection and PPAP.Experience with GE Aviation, Raytheon Technologies, and other aerospace OEM customers.Strong IT capability related to inspection equipment and quality systems.Additional Skills & Qualifications
A.S. degree in related engineering or technical discipline or equivalent experience.Familiarity with GE and Raytheon supplier portals.Understanding of critical component processes including ESA, VSE, SPS.Familiarity with export compliance requirements including DFAR and ITAR.Work Environment
The team currently consists of seven inspectors and one inspection supervisor, all reporting to the Quality Manager. The company boasts a great culture, celebrating 80 years of operation, and is a 2025 Platinum recipient of the Mental Health America Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $79040.00/yr.
