**Job Title: Quality Inspector**
**Job Description**
The Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting origination inspection of parts and supplies, ensuring product quality through assessment and analysis using specific procedural standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Follow standardized procedures to perform first part, final, and receiving inspections on a wide variety of parts and assemblies.
+ Utilize standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges, and test rigs.
+ Accurately compare products to engineering drawings/specifications, purchase orders, and inspection plans using common manual inspection equipment.
+ Identify and document non-conformances.
+ Provide constructive feedback for quality improvement.
+ Work under direct supervision and follow given instructions and techniques.
**Essential Skills**
+ Quality assurance, inspection, quality control, and quality inspection experience.
+ Experience using meteorology equipment such as calipers, height gage, surface plate, protractor, radius gauge, micrometer, and dial indicator.
+ Proficient use of basic meteorology equipment including calipers, height gage, surface plate, protractor, radius gauge, micrometer, and dial indicator.
+ Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members.
+ Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
+ Knowledge of and familiarity with Microsoft Office products and ERP manufacturing software.
+ Basic computer tasks proficiency (MS Windows, Office, ERP Software).
+ One (1) year of quality inspection experience or equivalent specialized training.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ QI experience in a metal fabrication environment is preferred.
+ Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is desired.
+ Inspection skills with FARO Arm and Programmable CMM are desired.
+ Experience with measuring tools (thickness gauges, micrometers, calipers) and hand tools.
+ Ability to lift up to 25lbs.

**Work Environment**
Join a single-source manufacturer providing turn-key mechanical and electromechanical assembly, sheet metal fabrication, and global sourcing of metal and plastic components. The Spokane facility exclusively produces parts for a major customer, offering a small team environment with the opportunity for growth as the site expands to over 60+ people. Work in a sheet metal manufacturing shop alongside welders, powder coaters, brake operators, and quality inspectors.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.45/hr.
