Quality Inspector
**Job Title: Quality Inspector** **Job Description** We are seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to join our team, dedicated to the inspection and quality assurance of medical devices and tools. You will have the opportunity to choose between the 2nd or 3rd shift, with initial training provided on the 1st or 2nd shift. **Responsibilities** + Inspect finished medical devices and tools using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and thread plug and thread ring go/no-go gages. + Conduct visual inspections in accordance with customer requirements and standards. + Accurately document inspection features and record data. + Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to ensure quality standards are met for all manufactured components. + Assist in the preparation of inspection documentation and methods for new and revised products. + Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and procedures. **Essential Skills** + High School diploma or equivalent. + Ability to read and write in English using proper punctuation and grammar. + 1-2 years of experience in quality control inspections is preferred, though training is available for the right candidate. + Knowledge and ability to read and interpret part drawings and specifications. + Working knowledge of mathematics, geometry, and algebraic calculations. + Experience with precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Outlook. + Ability to apply principles of rationalization to solve problems. + Detail-oriented with the ability to lift 25-50 lbs frequently and exert 50 lbs of force occasionally. **Why Work Here?** Join a company with a great culture and a clean, climate-controlled environment. The machine shop environment is clean and well-maintained, with a mild to moderate noise level that may occasionally be loud. You will receive thorough training, both on-the-job and in the classroom, to learn about the various parts and specifications required in the medical field. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LANCASTER, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
