Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
The Quality Control (QC) Technician is responsible for reviewing, inspecting, dispositioning, approving, and releasing raw material, labeling, and finished product lots. Additionally, the QC Technician will perform other duties as directed by QA/QC Management.
Additional Information:
1st Shift - 8am start time
Responsibilities
Inspect and disposition raw materials and labels.Review work order documentation prior to product release.Prepare non-conformity documentation for material disposition as needed.Prepare release documentation and appropriate traceability labeling for incoming materials and product release.Provide QC approvals of selected processes in the clean room manufacturing environment.Coordinate HPLC Testing with the QA Chemistry Team.Proactively review quality relevant procedures, including SOPs, Q.I.s, RIRs, and Component Specifications.Complete other duties as assigned.Essential Skills
Inspection and quality control experience.Blueprint reading.Experience with medical devices and raw materials.Familiarity with cleanroom protocols.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent education required.Preferably 2 years of inspection experience in a medical device environment.Attention to detail and focus for identifying discrepancies or anomalies.Basic understanding of good manufacturing and good documentation practices.Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.Proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other computer software packages.Fluent in English.Ability to communicate ideas, problems, and solutions effectively.Ability to collaborate in a team environment.Willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.Ability to serve as a backup for second shift support if required.Why Work Here?
