Quality Inspector
**Job Title: Quality Inspector** **Job Description** We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a solid experience in quality control, especially with IPC-610 standards, and possess the skills necessary to perform detailed inspections and assessments. **Responsibilities** + Conduct professional inspections according to identified specifications and standards. + Assess work order completeness and thoroughness. + Evaluate first articles, in-process assembled products, final manufactured products, returned products, received components, and outsourced finished products. + Perform process assessments and suggest identified improvements. + Maintain complete, accurate records, reports, and audits related to quality and inspection, including first article inspection reports, non-conforming material reports, RMA reports, and AS/ISO audits. + Communicate quality issues promptly to relevant stakeholders. + Engage in ongoing training to maintain proficiency in all manufacturing processes. + Assist with production activities as necessitated by the volume of work. **Essential Skills** + Prior manufacturing experience, preferably in inspection. + Good manual dexterity. + Ability to accurately use inspection equipment such as calipers and tape measures in both inch and metric units. + Strong ability to read, comprehend, write, and communicate orally in English. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. + Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to track multiple projects. + Strong attention to detail and ability to reason through problems. + Ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings, Parts Lists, BOMs, Data Lists, and various reports. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with optical comparators and microscopes. + IPC 610 and IPC 620 Certification. + AS9100 and ISO environment experience. + Proficiency in using SAP as an ERP system. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your skills and expertise will directly contribute to maintaining the highest quality standards. Employees may encounter temperature variations, chemical agents, and water/liquids. The work environment features moderate to loud noise levels. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
