Job Title: Quality Inspector

About the Role

Join our team as a Quality Inspector and play a critical role in ensuring precision and excellence in every component we produce. You’ll perform dimensional and visual inspections on machined parts, verifying they meet strict engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. What You’ll DoPerform dimensional and visual inspections on machined components during and after productionVerify parts against engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical comparators, gauges)Monitor in-process controls and ensure operators complete required data collectionDocument inspection results in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS)Identify and record defects or non-conformities, ensuring proper documentation and resolutionCollaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality personnel to resolve inspection issues and improve processesMaintain calibration and proper use of measuring instruments and testing equipmentSupport internal and external audits as neededInterpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions with accuracyWhat We’re Looking For2–5 years of experience in quality control or inspection (aerospace or manufacturing preferred)Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and inspection toolsStrong blueprint reading skills and knowledge of GD&TFamiliarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systemsExperience with First Article Inspection (FAI) processesExcellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a teamPhysical ability to sit/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Chaska, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $58240.00/yr.
