**Job Title: Quality Inspector** **About the Role** Join our team as a **Quality Inspector** and play a critical role in ensuring precision and excellence in every component we produce. You’ll perform dimensional and visual inspections on machined parts, verifying they meet strict engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and take pride in maintaining the highest quality standards. **What You’ll Do** + Perform dimensional and visual inspections on machined components during and after production + Verify parts against engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical comparators, gauges) + Monitor in-process controls and ensure operators complete required data collection + Document inspection results in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) + Identify and record defects or non-conformities, ensuring proper documentation and resolution + Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality personnel to resolve inspection issues and improve processes + Maintain calibration and proper use of measuring instruments and testing equipment + Support internal and external audits as needed + Interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions with accuracy **What We’re Looking For** + 2–5 years of experience in quality control or inspection (aerospace or manufacturing preferred) + Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and inspection tools + Strong blueprint reading skills and knowledge of GD&T + Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems + Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) processes + Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team + Physical ability to sit/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs **Preferred Skills:** + Experience with CMM software (PC-DMIS, Zeiss Calypso) + Experience with vision systems (Keyence, Micro View) + ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or similar certification **Why You’ll Love Working Here** + Competitive wages with **sign-on and referral bonuses** + **Generous benefits package, including zero-premium medical plan** for employees + Paid time off, holidays, and retirement savings options + Career advancement opportunities in a supportive, growth-focused environment + Positive company culture that values teamwork, precision, and continuous improvement **Work Environment** + Well-lit, **climate-controlled facility** designed for comfort and efficiency + Collaborative atmosphere with engineering, production, and quality teams working side by side + Structured processes and modern equipment to support accuracy and productivity **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Chaska, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $58240.00/yr.
