**Job Title: Quality Inspector** Job Description The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming parts from suppliers and completed parts post-weld and post-assembly. The role involves actively participating in ensuring high-quality products move through the facility. Responsibilities + Perform component and assembled part layouts in accordance with drawings. + Conduct finished goods audits. + Assist with housekeeping in the MRB area. + Assist the MRB area with material handling, inventory, and non-standard jobs. Essential Skills + 1-2 years of experience in a similar position. + Ability to read tape measurements and manual calipers. + Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints. + Understanding of decimals preferred. + Ability to stand, sit, and walk at least 75% of the time. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge of quality plans and controls. + Gauging knowledge. + Ability to observe all safety and OSHA procedures and standards. + Capability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance, with PPE required at times. Work Environment The work environment consists of a large, 256,000 sq ft facility that is very clean and not too loud. Safety is the top priority. Shifts include 1st shift from 5:00am to 3:30pm and 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 2:00am, with an expectation of 50+ hours per week, including weekends. The facility is organized and emphasizes safety. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.40/hr.
