**Job Title: Quality Inspector**
Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will perform assigned work and direct inspection duties, ensuring product conformity through defined operations. You will independently use predetermined methods, setups, and specifications to conduct in-process and completed inspections of various products, including machine parts and mechanical assemblies. Using blueprints, digital models, and inspection instruments, you will identify and handle non-conforming units, ensuring quality in accordance with set procedures.
Responsibilities
+ Direct and monitor inspection duties of at least one lower-rated inspector.
+ Use predetermined methods and setups to perform inspections of machine parts and assemblies.
+ Accept or reject malfunctioning or non-conforming units.
+ Work from blueprints, digital models, and customer specifications.
+ Use various measuring devices to perform required inspections.
+ Identify and segregate non-conforming product and handle rejections per BQMS requirements.
+ Develop inspection plans and suggest improvements in work holding and cycle time.
+ Instruct team members in product conformity practices.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Thorough understanding of Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing (GD&T) methods per ASM 14.5.
+ Extensive knowledge of common inspection measuring equipment such as micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators.
+ High proficiency in blueprint reading and manufacturing/inspection-related math.
+ Ability to professionally communicate and work cooperatively with others.
+ Attention to detail and good manual dexterity.
+ Basic English language skills and ability to interpret planning and work order instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
+ Thorough understanding of Syteline/ESI or other ERP systems.
+ Working knowledge of Quality-specific software.
+ Willingness to learn and receive training, and train others as required.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
