**Job Title: Quality Inspector**
Job Description
The Production Technical Lead is responsible for inspecting first piece, in process, and final wire weldments and metal fabrication assemblies to ensure they meet company and customer specifications, as well as industry standards.
Responsibilities
+ Perform first piece, in process, and final dimensional and visual inspections of fabricated wire weldments and metal fabrications.
+ Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
+ Use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and weld gauges.
+ Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
+ Resolve problems effectively.
+ Conduct final inspections before shipment either to the customer or to an outside vendor for painting, various types of plating, or heat treatment.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in inspection, quality control, and quality assurance.
+ Experience with calipers, micrometers, and micrometres.
+ Expertise in quality inspection, quality check, first article inspection, in-process analysis, visual inspection, and final inspection.
+ Ability to interpret blueprints and ensure quality control in wire feed processes.
+ A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection.
+ Experience with first article inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection.
+ Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
+ Effective communication skills for speaking before groups of customers or associates.
+ Proficiency in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
+ Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $54080.00/yr.
