As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in supporting the functional verification and validation of incoming materials and completed products. You will interpret drawings, perform measurements, and utilize various inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers. Your primary focus will be on sheet metal and cable inspection within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
ResponsibilitiesInterpret and understand technical drawings.Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools.Conduct sheet metal and cable inspection.Provide in-process and final inspection testing.Maintain accurate inspection and test records.Advise production personnel on product and material acceptability based on inspection results.Provide solutions to technical problems and assist with special projects.Assist with ISO 9001-2015 audits.Document non-conformances.Perform receiving inspections of materials from suppliers.Inspect sheet metal parts and electrical components, including cable assemblies and wire harnesses.
Essential Skills3+ years of professional experience in quality assurance/control.Experience reviewing parts, drawings, and assemblies.Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools.Ability to work on a computer and access drawings digitally.Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 standards.Knowledge of IPC-620 workmanship standards.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Strong communication skills.
Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh attention to detail.Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.Familiarity with paperwork and documentation processes.

Work Environment

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
