**Job Title: Quality Technician** **Paying $27-33/hr** **Job Description** Join a leading sheet metal company renowned for its precision and quality as a Quality Inspector. Work in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled environment to ensure all parts meet industry specifications, maintaining our strong reputation for accuracy and quality. **Responsibilities** + Conduct 1st article, in-process, and final inspections on sheet metal fabricated and painted parts. + Inspect sheet metal parts using quality tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and surface plates for inspection of fabricated, welded, or plated metals. + Utilize blueprints to perform and execute quality checks on machine and fabricated parts. + Maintain accurate documentation for prototype and medium-run parts, including PPAP documentation. + Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards on tight tolerance parts. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and surface plates. + Experience performing 1st Article, In-Process, and final inspections. + Knowledgeable in GD&T symbols. + Familiarity with sheet metal inspection and PPAP processes. + Strong understanding of quality inspection, control, and blueprint interpretation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with vision systems or CMM, such as Virtex scanner and vision systems, is a plus. + Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and data entry. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy company-paid medical benefits, a 401K matching program, and two weeks of paid vacation after 90 days.
