Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to perform visual inspections of robotic systems and subassemblies, ensuring they adhere to engineering specifications and internal quality standards. The role involves conducting Board of Test (BOT) inspections, with provided training, and inspecting incoming mechanical parts, electronic components, and cable assemblies. The Quality Inspector will follow and help maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), interpret mechanical and technical drawings to ensure part accuracy and conformance, and accurately record and report inspection results and any quality issues. The position requires collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to address and resolve issues.

ResponsibilitiesPerform visual inspections of robotic systems and subassemblies to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.Conduct Board of Test (BOT) inspections with provided training.Inspect incoming mechanical parts, electronic components, and cable assemblies.Maintain and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Interpret mechanical and technical drawings to confirm part accuracy.Record and report inspection results and quality issues accurately.Utilize Microsoft Office tools to log findings and communicate with internal teams.Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues.Essential SkillsHands-on experience with electronic assemblies and cable inspection.Familiarity with incoming inspection processes and tools.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to follow structured procedures.Strong communication and documentation skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in robotics, automation, or electronics manufacturing environments.Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers and multimeters.Knowledge of IPC or ISO 9001 standards is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role is based in an indoor manufacturing site which is non-airconditioned. Expect a hands-on environment where precision and attention to detail are paramount.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plant City, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
