Quality Inspector

Our client, a leader in quality assurance, is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Quality Inspector
**Location:** Lenexa, KS
**Pay Range:** $24/hr (maximum based off experience)
**What's the Job?**
+ Conduct inspections of products, parts, assemblies, and raw materials to validate compliance with design data requirements.
+ Utilize measuring and inspection instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators to ensure quality standards.
+ Read and interpret policies, procedures, blueprints, and other documentation to perform inspections accurately.
+ Verify documentation for accuracy and completeness, including Certificates of Conformance and Material Certifications.
+ Perform administrative tasks associated with file management and vendor submitted First Article Inspections.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or educational equivalent (GED) with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
+ Ability to pass a vision exam and possess safety shoes.
+ Strong understanding of inspection techniques and tools.
+ Proficient in operating computer systems for inspection tasks (e.g., SAP).
+ Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons.
