**Job Title: Quality Inspection Specialist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspection Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and precision of our products through meticulous inspection and measurement techniques.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform visual quality inspection of products before and after completion of assigned work.
+ Measure workpiece dimensions to assess conformance to specifications.
+ Acknowledge task completion by initialing work orders.
+ Conduct minor machine maintenance, such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces.
+ Perform a combination of production tasks, including loading machinery, setting up jobs, and assisting in machine operation.
+ Load and unload materials, parts, or products to designated work areas and pack products as needed.
+ Assist in the operation of machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth workflow.
+ Read specifications to determine necessary machine adjustments and material requirements.
+ Set stops or guides using scales, rules, or templates.
+ Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions.
+ Access databases to retrieve work instructions for task performance.
+ Maintain personal productivity while performing assigned duties.
+ Prepare materials for shipping and perform any other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with quality inspection and using micrometers and calipers.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
+ Ability to read and interpret prints.
+ Competence in computer data entry.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
+ Proficiency in using measuring tools, such as tape measurers.

**Work Environment**
Work in a large facility with over 100 team members. The environment is collaborative, and while the facility is fairly clean, the role does require reaching high and moving frequently. Lifting is part of the daily routine.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Middletown, Connecticut
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
