**Job Title: Quality Inspection Specialist** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspection Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and precision of our products through meticulous inspection and measurement techniques. **Responsibilities** + Perform visual quality inspection of products before and after completion of assigned work. + Measure workpiece dimensions to assess conformance to specifications. + Acknowledge task completion by initialing work orders. + Conduct minor machine maintenance, such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces. + Perform a combination of production tasks, including loading machinery, setting up jobs, and assisting in machine operation. + Load and unload materials, parts, or products to designated work areas and pack products as needed. + Assist in the operation of machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth workflow. + Read specifications to determine necessary machine adjustments and material requirements. + Set stops or guides using scales, rules, or templates. + Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions. + Access databases to retrieve work instructions for task performance. + Maintain personal productivity while performing assigned duties. + Prepare materials for shipping and perform any other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience with quality inspection and using micrometers and calipers. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. + Ability to read and interpret prints. + Competence in computer data entry. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to read, write, and comprehend English. + Proficiency in using measuring tools, such as tape measurers. **Why Work Here?** Join a large, team-oriented environment where you are valued and your contributions make an impact.
