**Job Title: Quality Inspector**
**Job Description**
This position involves testing gloves to ensure they meet company standards and are free from damage during the manufacturing process.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure manufacturing processes are being followed and products meet company standards.
+ Inspect raw materials through routine inspections and reject all unsuitable materials.
+ Perform a wide variety of tests such as visual inspection, air leak test, and non-destructive testing.
+ Use inspection tools, primarily calipers, for quality checks.
+ Operate machinery to test gloves.
+ Use Microsoft Excel and Word to enter and track data.
**Essential Skills**
+ Must have quality experience.
+ Must have experience using calipers.
+ Must have basic computer skills using Microsoft apps.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Nice to have machine operating experience.
+ Good attention to detail and organization.
+ Ability to perform visual inspections and quality checks.
+ Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
+ Effective data entry skills.
+ Ability to inspect 200 - 500 gloves a day once training is completed.

**Work Environment**
The role involves working in a temperature-controlled environment with a small team of about 6 people. Employees are required to wear a lab coat on the manufacturing floor, which has a paint-like scent. The position requires working Thursday to Monday on the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, with initial training on the first shift for two weeks.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Marcos, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
