Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day inspections of products, ensuring quality standards are met. You will utilize various inspection tools to perform these duties, read customer engineering documents, and complete First Article Inspection Reports. You will support production personnel with inspection issues and document inspections in the daily catch log.

ResponsibilitiesPerform first part and lot inspections of products using tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and digital comparators.Read and interpret customer engineering documents and work orders to determine inspection requirements.Complete First Article Inspection Reports accurately and in a timely manner.Support production personnel with inspection issues and manage Reject tags utilizing an ERP system.Document inspections and maintain organized records as required.Essential SkillsProficiency in using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and FARO Arm with Verisurf software.Ability to accurately interpret customer engineering documents and specifications.Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports.Previous inspection experience in a machine shop environment or a machine/fabricated components manufacturing facility.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and blueprint reading.Strong quality assurance skills and attention to detail.Why Work Here
