**Job Title: Quality Control Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform visual quality inspections and minor machine maintenance, ensuring product conformance to specifications. This role requires a strong ability to work independently while maintaining productivity in a large team environment. **Responsibilities** + Perform visual quality inspection of product prior to and upon completion of assigned work. + Measure work piece dimensions to assess conformance using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers. + Initial work order completion and inspection of work performed as acknowledgment of properly completing tasks. + Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces. + Execute a combination of production tasks, which may include loading machinery, positioning work, setting up jobs, and assisting in adjusting and operating machinery. + Load and unload materials, parts, or products; stock designated work areas; pack products and clean surfaces of machines and work areas. + Assist in the operation of machinery and equipment. + Read specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. + Set stops or guides as indicated by scale, rule, or template. + Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction. + Access databases as necessary to retrieve work instructions to perform duties. + Maintain productivity while performing duties and prepare material for shipping. + Perform any other duties assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience with micrometers and calipers. + Ability to read blueprints. + Computer entry proficiency. + Ability to lift 50 lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to read, write, and comprehend English. + Proficiency in using measuring tools such as tape measures. **Why Work Here?** Join a collaborative team in a large facility where your contributions are valued.
