Quality Inspector
**Job Title: Quality Inspector** **Job Description** As a Quality Inspector, you will perform visual inspections of electronic cards, sub-assemblies, and systems to ensure all products meet established specifications for reliability and workmanship. You will utilize gauges, templates, microscopes, and other manufacturing aids to ensure all products are up to standard. Additionally, you will ensure all required process operations have been performed on inspected products, enter quality data into electronic or manual systems, and notify appropriate personnel if unusual product defects or process yield issues arise. **Responsibilities** + Perform visual inspection of electronic cards, sub-assemblies, and systems to ensure product reliability and workmanship. + Utilize gauges, templates, microscopes, and other manufacturing aids for inspection. + Ensure all required process operations have been performed on the inspected products. + Enter quality data into appropriate electronic or manual systems. + Notify appropriate personnel if unusual product defects or process yields fall below acceptable levels. + Provide timely feedback to manufacturing regarding non-conforming products. + Accurately complete all administrative activities related to quality inspection. + Perform process audits and assist manufacturing with interpretation of quality and workmanship standards. + Assist with the disposition of non-conforming materials/products. **Essential Skills** + Experience in quality inspection and control. + Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and microscopes for inspections. + Ability to read blueprints and inspect server racks. + IPC certification. + General labor and production experience. + Good computer skills and knowledge. + Ability to stand throughout the shift. + Proficiency in English for reading and speaking. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Level 3 Quality Inspector certification. + Experience in cleanroom environments. **Why Work Here?** You will be working in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with opportunities for contract-to-hire after nine months. The noise level is usually moderate. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milpitas, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.30 - $25.30/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
