**Job Title: Quality Inspector** **Pay: $29-38** **Job Description** Candidates best suited for this role are skilled in quality inspection, particularly within the manufacturing of precision machined components. The focus area includes performing 1st Article and Final Inspection (both visual and dimensional) of products, along with recording and analyzing inspection data. Additional activities may involve supporting statistical process control, sampling plans, data analysis, root cause analysis, corrective action, and other Quality System activities. **Responsibilities** + Inspect medical machined part components in both low and high-volume settings. + Operate and set up CMM machines, preferably Mitutoyo but experience with any brand is acceptable. + Perform 1st Article and final inspections of medical device components. + Support in-process inspections on the shop floor as needed. + Accurately document all work performed on inspection reports and traveler. + Recognize quality issues and communicate with management. + Assist with Return Material Authorization (RMA). + Support the Quality team with ISO compliance. + Interface regularly with ERP software, JobBOSS software, and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. + Verify completeness and accuracy of device history records to ensure good documentation practices are performed. **Essential Skills** + 5 years or more of quality inspection experience in the medical device machined components industry. + CMM operating experience. + Proficiency in GD&T and the ability to read engineering drawings. + Ability to recognize and identify quality issues both visually and dimensionally. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Shop math experience. + Experience with machined components. + Print to Part experience. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive wages and an extensive benefits package, including health insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, medical, vision, dental, accident, and critical care coverage.
