Quality Inspector
Job Title: Quality Inspector

Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform product, in-process, and final inspections.Responsible for logging and maintaining all inspection records prioritizing multiple programs.Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and regulatory requirements.Collect and organize certificates of conformance, test reports, and other compliance documents.Manage receiving inspections and entering data in inventory software.Prepare and manage tracking on outgoing shipments to processors and customers.Assist with managing calibrated equipment.Prepare and maintain test data.Provide support for and collaborate with other departments.Identify areas of improvement and implement new methods.Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements and Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent experience.Familiar with AS9100/ISO 9001:2015 Quality SystemsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings.Understands tolerances and deviations.Ability to use calipers and other inspection equipment.Understands various mathematical concepts including fractions, rations, & proportions.Continuous improvement oriented.Ability to work well independently and with a team.Able to lift up to 30 lbs.Must be able to stand for 5 hours a day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, Alabama.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
