**HIRING!!!!!! 1ST SHIFT - $30-33/HR - Quality Inspector** **Job Description** We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team in a manufacturing environment specializing in military and defense products, ranging from filters to rocket control modules. Due to an increase in demand, we are expanding our team to ensure the utmost quality standards are maintained. **Responsibilities** + Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure parts meet precise specifications for form, size, orientation, and location. + Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, parts, and assemblies using tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, height gauges, pin gauges, and comparators, ensuring tolerances are within .01, and at times .001. + Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections at various stages of production to identify and address quality issues or deviations from requirements. + Document inspection results, including non-conformances and corrective actions, in accordance with established quality management systems. + Collaborate with production personnel, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues and implement process improvements. + Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, conducting audits, and participating in corrective action activities as needed. + Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. **Essential Skills** + 5 years of experience in Quality Inspection in a regulated environment. + Experience with first article, in-process, and final inspections. + Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. + Experience with documentation, audits, and non-conformity reports. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Relevant certifications in quality assurance and inspection techniques (e.g., CQI, ASQ Certified Quality Inspector, J-STD 001, IPC 600, IPC 610, IPC 620). + CMM experience. + Extensive experience in quality assurance or inspection within manufacturing, defense, aerospace, or medical device industries. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. **Work Environment** Work in a clean production facility with a focus on maintaining quality and safety standards.
