Job Title: Inspector
Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure quality processes and procedures are followed, performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections. This role requires meticulous documentation and adherence to AS9102 standards.

ResponsibilitiesPerform receiving, in-process, and final inspectionsComplete required documentationConduct AS9102 first article inspections and other extensive inspections per specificationsDocument all inspections in accordance with procedures and processesDevelop and review inspection plansEnsure quality standards are met for all components and assemblies for final acceptanceMaintain parts history folders, inspection reports, and prints/drawingsCalibrate and document hand tools and other inspection equipmentPerform visual inspectionConduct hardness and electrical conductivity testingEssential Skills3-5 years of Aerospace Inspection experienceExperience with AS9102 Inspection standardsProficient in inspecting tubular and cylindrical componentsAbility to use manual and digital calipers and micrometersExperience with calipers, micrometers, surface plate, and gaugesAbility to measure tolerances to the tenths with no errorUnderstanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Good computer skills for documentation in ERP systemsCMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience is a plus but not requiredAdditional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in blueprint readingMechanical/Quality Inspection experienceKnowledge of GD&T symbolsWhy Work Here?

Our company designs and manufactures precision metallic tubular parts and assemblies for the commercial aircraft, aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SANTA FE SPRINGS, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
