**Job Title: Quality Inspector**
**Job Description**
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established specifications and standards through professional inspections. You will handle various aspects of quality control, including assessing work order completeness, inspecting first articles and final products, and evaluating returned products and received components. Your role will also involve process assessments and improvements, accurate documentation and reporting, and timely communication of quality issues.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct inspections on work orders, first articles, in-process products, final manufactured products, returned products, received components, and outsourced finished products.
+ Identify process improvements and ensure quality and inspection records, reports, and audits are accurate and complete.
+ Complete first article inspection reports, non-conforming material reports, RMA reports, and AS/ISO audits.
+ Provide timely communication to stakeholders regarding quality issues.
+ Participate in ongoing training to maintain proficiency in manufacturing processes.
+ Assist with production activities as needed based on work volume.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in manufacturing, preferably in inspection.
+ Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and rulers.
+ Ability to measure and convert to metric units.
+ Computer comprehension with SAP ERP usage.
+ Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
+ Ability to read, comprehend, write, and communicate effectively in English.
+ Mathematical proficiency in fractions and decimals.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
+ Organizational and follow-up skills to manage multiple projects.
+ Problem-solving skills and ability to suggest solutions.
+ Ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings and reports.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ IPC-610 and IPC-620 experience.
+ Optical Comparators and microscope experience.
+ AS9100 and ISO environment experience.
+ Ability to sit or stand for long periods and handle physical tasks.
+ Capability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

**Work Environment**
This position is on the day shift, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, within a cleanroom environment. You may encounter varying temperatures, chemical agents, and moderate to loud noise levels. Our facilities are equipped to support quality inspection processes with the necessary tools and technology.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
