**Job Title: Quality Inspector**
**Job Description**
The QA Inspector inspects and evaluates all product characteristics as they pertain to drawing and specification requirements. The role involves working with parts, machined and turned cylindrical parts for aerospace applications. These include raw materials, in-process parts, first article, and final inspection documentation for shipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Visually observe dimensional and functional characteristics (acceptance testing) of the product in final inspection.
+ Create AS9102 First Article and Inspection Sheets.
+ Review all certifications for incoming material received.
+ Perform in-process inspection of product during manufacturing.
+ Evaluate first part on startup and product manufacturing.
+ Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments.
+ Create and process rejection tags.
**Essential Skills**
+ Blueprint reading
+ Press brake operation
+ Axis and sheet metal knowledge
+ CMM inspection
+ 1+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Ability to read and write complex instructions and quality documents in English
+ Experience with MYLAR blueprints
+ Ability to read and comprehend schematics
+ ITAR compliant identification
+ Proficiency in using manual gauges such as micrometers, tri-mics, and lasers
+ Ability to learn complex measurement systems such as CMM and vision/optical systems
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Preferred: Aerospace quality inspection experience
+ CNC machine operation experience
+ Experience with Mylar film and Mylar blueprints

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a manufacturing setting where you may be exposed to loud noises and machinery with moving parts. The company operates multiple shifts with potential transfer opportunities down the line. The physical demands of the role include lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling 1 – 50 lbs frequently, squatting, kneeling, bending, stooping, twisting, turning, grasping, and reaching overhead and outward frequently. You will also be required to sit, stand, and walk for 1 – 10 hours per day and work in temperatures ranging from 55 – 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Appropriate protective clothing such as hearing protection, eye protection, and steel-toed shoes are required.
**Shifts**
+ 1st Shift: 6am - 2:30pm Mon-Thurs
+ 2nd Shift: 2pm - 12:30am Mon-Thurs ($2 Shift differential)
+ 3rd Shift: 6am - 6:30pm Fri-Sun ($3 Shift differential)
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Kent, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66560.00/yr.
