Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our team at the Hanover Ring and Seal Factory, supporting aerospace and industrial applications with custom carbon seals and piston rings. This role involves inspecting in-process parts and conducting final inspections of parts to ensure quality standards are met.
ResponsibilitiesPerform quality inspections on in-process parts and conduct final inspections.Utilize precise measuring equipment and devices such as micrometers and calipers.Read and understand dimensional blueprints to ensure parts meet specified tolerances.Implement quality assurance and quality control processes.Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for quality checks.Refer to supervisor for clarification on priorities, objectives, or policies.Essential SkillsMinimum of 1 year applied training in manufacturing quality role.Experience working with precise measuring equipment for at least 1 year.Proficiency in reading and understanding dimensional blueprints.Strong quality inspection skills including understanding tolerances.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Ability to train on any shift.Annual eye exam required to meet quality department standards.Must be legally authorized to work in the US.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58718.00 - $58718.00/yr.
PAID HOLIDAYS -- 12 holidays per calendar year and 2 personal holidays per Union contract year
VACATION – 2 weeks’ of vacation after completing 6-months of employment; vacation resets on 1/1 of each calendar year
RETIREMENT/401(K) PLAN – Option to invest your contributions on a Pre-tax or Roth (After-tax) basis. Automatic enrollment at 3% unless you elect differently.
Automatic 3% company contribution into your account on a per pay period basis (regardless of your
participation, 1 year vesting)
