**Job Title: Quality Inspector $20-22** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Floor Inspector for a direct hire position on the 2nd shift from 3pm to 11pm. This role involves performing quality inspections on various parts throughout the production process. **Responsibilities** + Conduct quality inspections on incoming, in-process, and outgoing parts. + Visually inspect castings and document findings according to quality instructions. + Utilize provided gauges and blueprints to ensure compliance with standards. + Log rejected castings and identify the stage of the inspection process. + Walk the entire plant floor during the shift and perform inspections. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience. + Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on the plant floor for the duration of the shift. + Proficiency in utilizing gauges and blueprints. + Strong math skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in diecast, troubleshooting, mechanical, and machine operation. + Familiarity with inspection tools such as micrometres, visual inspection techniques, and CMM. + ISO certifications are a plus. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy the benefits of direct placement and being part of a union.
