Quality Informatics Specialist

Are you passionate about healthcare data, quality improvement, and making sure the numbers truly reflect patient care? Valley Health Systems is seeking a Quality Informatics Specialist to play a key role in strengthening quality reporting, value-based care, and population health initiatives across our organization.
In this role, you’ll serve as a technical informatics expert embedded within our Informatics team, working closely with Quality, Value-Based Operations, clinical leaders, and external partners to ensure our quality data is accurate, reliable, and meaningful.

What You’ll Do
Validate and reconcile clinical quality data across the EHR and other systemsIdentify and resolve data discrepancies before they impact reporting or performanceDevelop and maintain monthly data reliability reportingSupport internal quality, value-based care, and population health reportingPartner with EHR analysts and external vendors to align workflows and reportingSupport quality and patient experience reporting with actionable insightsWhat We’re Looking For
Degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related fieldExperience working with healthcare quality data and reporting systemsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to collaborate across clinical, quality, IT, and vendor teamsPreferred Experience
Epic reporting experienceFQHC or safety-net healthcare experienceFamiliarity with UDS, NCQA, MSSP/MIPS, Azara, and value-based care modelsWhy Join Valley Health Systems
