ROLE SUMMARY
The Associate Manager - Quality and Hygiene is responsible for supporting activities to ensure the highest quality of hygiene and food safety in all areas of operations within the store.

ROLE PROFILE

Support the analysis of quality and food safety standards and implement continuous improvementsImplement the internal quality and hygiene proceduresResearch and maintain a record of all food safety developments and changes in regulationsImplement the hygiene and food safety awareness/climate in the stores to ensure highest qualityMonitor the storage of fresh food according to the set standards and proceduresMonitor and report on food storage complies with the required health and safety standardsImplement training for all food and waste handling staffImplement corrective activities put into place due to audit results

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or equivalent2+ years of experience in quality management within a regulated environmentExcellent knowledge of HACCP standardsProfessional certifications such as ISO Lead Auditor, Si Sigma, HACCP, or similar
