Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Quality General Laborers. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting various samples and loading them into testing machines. This position is essential to ensuring the quality of our products and involves working both in the plant and occasionally in the fields.

ResponsibilitiesCollect beet, stalk, and dirt samples from trailers and stored beets in the plant.Hand-harvest stalks and beets in the harvest field as needed.Place collected materials into canisters and load them into testing machines.Load canisters with different sugar products for testing.Assist with loading canisters onto pallets outside the quality lab for lab technicians.Essential SkillsExperience in general labor, production, or similar fields.Ability to perform tasks that require standing for the entire shift.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with machine operation, packing, and loading is beneficial.Experience in farm work, milking, production work, or construction is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will work in the plant and occasionally in the fields, with responsibilities both inside and outside the quality lab. The shift runs from 7am to 3pm. This position requires physical activity, including standing for extended periods.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Bay City, Michigan.

This is a Direct Hire position.

Pay rate = $17/hour

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40705.00 - $40705.00/yr.

Opportunity to get in with a local manufacture with NO manufacturing experience.
Opportunity to transfer into different positions once quality project is complete

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Bay City,MI.
