**Description** Ensure that the quality management system conforms to the requirements of the AS9100 standard. • Ensure that the processes established are delivering their intended outputs. • Reporting on the performance of the quality management system and on opportunities for improvement. • Ensure that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality system are planned and implemented. • Act as the management representative for the QMS and will have the responsibility and authority for the oversight as well as be the liaison with external parties on matters relating to the QMS. • Create, review, and revise Quality Assurance standard operating procedures (SOP’s). • Configuration management disciplines, tools, and practices to ensure that products and services meet engineering requirements. • Perform closed-looped corrective action and root cause analysis. • Assemble and review data packages for submittal to customers. • Ensure compliance of certifications. • Responsible for product and data presentation for final customer acceptance. • Review quality requirements of contracts, and PO’s. • Responsible for the initial quality and manufacturing planning review. • Lead the resolution of non-conforming material issues. • Technical writing skills that include quality procedures and test plans. • Performs product, process, and system audits and verifies effectiveness or corrective actions that were taken. • Represents quality assurance on new product start-up teams.
