The Injection Quality Engineer has the key role of coordinating Quality and Production team in ensuring the quality performance and the respect of the quality standards in the Injection process, driving improvement actions and projects.

 

My day at EssilorLuxottica

Responsible for the whole process quality of the Injection process, including but not limited to the abnormality handling, the analysis of the quality issues or production defects, the investigation of such defects root causes and the definition of corrective/preventive actions to avoid them, customer feedback and complaint management, follow up and solve the problems as cross-functional team leader;

Coordinate for the Injection process Quality team defining the team daily work arrangement and long term performance improvement plan and team development;

Responsible for the Inspection process, daily process audit and corrective actions for the audit findings;

Work closely with production team to achieve and improve the quality KPIs;

Work with SQM or other quality team on the incoming material quality for Injection process;

Implement projects for the reduction and the continuous improvement of the defect rate, the material extra consumption and the overall operating costs;

Provide analysis and reporting on the Quality KPIs and performance for Injection process to the local and corporate team;

Definition of Quality SOP and Working Instructions;

Responsible for the Injection process quality documentation and relevant training;

Make sure that Safety, Manpower and 5S principles are followed in the quality team working area.

Responsibility in management system related to the company such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 13485, etc.

 

Must have

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Injection In-process quality control or similar industries;

College degree or above, preferably with Major in Engineering or similar;

Good English written and spoken communication;

Familiar data consolidation knowledge and with Microsoft Office software package (Excel and data analysis);

Logical Thinking and Problem Solving Attitude, Target Oriented Mindset and Capability to work independently in a dynamic environment;

Strong coordination, interpersonal and communication skills;

Solid mechanical background, with process quality control experiences in injection production industry;

Familiar with common quality tools, six sigma knowledge or project management experience preferred;

SAP system knowledge is a plus.

Knowledge for management system related to the company such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 13485, etc.
