To be a successful Quality Engineer, you should have experience with:
Advanced Java based API Testing & Automation: Strong hands on experience using Java, Karate, Rest Assured, Postman, and Cucumber (Gherkin) with solid understanding of REST standards, HTTP protocols, and JSON. Ability to design and execute BDD and data driven automated test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab.AWS Cloud Quality Engineering: Practical experience validating workloads on ECS, EC2, Target Groups, ALBs, Route configurations, and CloudFormation (CFT) for product provisioning and launches. Strong ability to perform CloudWatch log analysis, environment checks, logs monitoring, and alert based triage.Additional relevant skills given below are highly valued
GenAI‑assisted QE productivity: Ability to use GenAI/copilot tools to generate test cases, test data, summarize logs, and accelerate defect triage.API Contract & Quality Gate Testing: Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger, schema validations, Pact or consumer‑driven contract testing, and implementing quality gates in CI/CD.Performance, Security & Scripting: Exposure to JMeter/Gatling, understanding of OWASP principles, and working knowledge of Python/Shell scripting for utilities and automation.Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
