Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

We seek a dedicated Quality Engineer to lead the development of DFMEA, PFMEA, Quality Plan, and Control Plan. This role requires interfacing with our customer, the manufacturing contractor, and our internal team to ensure successful implementation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong experience in quality management as they will be required to navigate complex scenarios and challenge their knowledge in interactions with multiple parties.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of DFMEA, PFMEA, Quality Plan, and Control Plan.Interface effectively with customers, manufacturing contractors, and internal teams.Be a subject matter expert in quality management areas.Communicate effectively, especially in customer-facing scenarios.Mitigate risks proactively and independently.Provide solutions even with limited information.

Essential Skills

Strong experience in quality control and management systems.Expertise in DFMEA and PFMEA.Proficiency in developing and implementing Control Plans.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in supplier quality management.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Comfortable working in the defense sector with sensitive materials.

The position is based in an office environment within a family-owned business that is expanding within the defense sector. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
