We are seeking a hands‑on Quality Engineer to support product assurance across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams.
This individual will serve as the primary quality liaison for assigned programs, driving compliance to AS9100/ISO 9001 standards, supporting troubleshooting on the production floor, and leading corrective action efforts. Most work is performed directly on the manufacturing floor, with additional planning and reporting tasks completed at the desk. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems at the source, collaborating cross‑functionally, and contributing to long‑term product reliability in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as the program’s single point of contact for all Product Assurance and Quality requirementsLead cross‑functional quality efforts and make independent decisions to ensure adherence to quality and reliability standardsDevelop, implement, and maintain program‑specific quality procedures and plansTrack program budgets, define work scope, and manage assignments for team membersSupport proposals for new programs, including defining quality requirements and estimating scopeCollect and analyze program quality metrics to identify trends and risksPrepare and present status reports to internal leadership and customersGenerate, track, and close internal and supplier Corrective Action Requests (CARs)Perform root cause analysis and drive CAPA effectivenessConduct detailed contract reviews to determine quality and regulatory requirementsMaintain monitoring systems and PC‑based tools for planning, tracking, and performance evaluationWork closely with operations to support troubleshooting, repair, retesting, and floor‑based quality activitiesOccasional overnight travel requiredRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical preferred)2+ years of Quality Engineering or related experienceStrong knowledge of:CAPAInternal/external auditsRoot cause analysisQuality control methodsAS9100 & ISO 9001Hands‑on experience with testing and inspecting electronic componentsAbility to use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and related toolsExperience developing corrective action plans and working within a Quality Management SystemExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications
Experience in aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated manufacturing environmentsExposure to export‑controlled work environmentsAbility to work both independently and within cross‑functional teamsWork Environment
