This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our Client office at a minimum 4 days per week - subject to change at any time.
This role is for a highly skilled Performance Engineer responsible for managing and executing end-to-end non-functional testing activities. The specialist will focus on performance, reliability, and resiliency engineering, utilizing advanced tools for load generation, deep-dive monitoring, and chaos testing. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge in payments technology and banking and be familiar with modern AI/ML technologies.
. Independently manage and deliver all non-functional testing (NFT) activities, including strategic planning and execution.
. Develop and maintain LoadRunner performance scripts and conduct in-depth analysis of load test results.
. Perform deep-dive performance analysis using monitoring tools and system metrics to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
. Create and maintain Dynatrace dashboards for continuous performance monitoring and reporting.
. Design and execute chaos engineering experiments using Gremlin to test system resilience and reliability.
. Articulate and document test signoffs clearly and comprehensively to stakeholders.
. Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to improve system availability, latency, and overall performance.
. Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement performance recommendations.
. Expert/Strong hands-on knowledge of LoadRunner (scripting and analysis).
. Strong hands-on knowledge of Dynatrace (DT) for performance monitoring.
. Hands-on experience with Gremlin for chaos testing.
. Good understanding of cloud concepts, specifically Azure.
. Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and query optimization.
. Knowledge of SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices.
. Exposure to Generative AI (GenAI)/Co-pilot technologies is a plus.
Required Domain Knowledge
. Good understanding of payments technology (e.g., SWIFT, ACH, Fedwire).
. Solid banking domain knowledge.
. Strong hands-on knowledge of LoadRunner tool (scripting and analysis), Dynatrace performance monitoring (DT), Gremlin (chaos tests), cloud concepts of azure and SRE practices.
. Good understanding in SQL and Dynatrace dashboard creation.
. Ability to independently manage and deliver non-functional testing activities like test-plan creation, deep dive analysis of the load tests and to properly articulate the test signoffs.
. Good understanding of payments technology (i. e, SWIFT/ACH/Fedwire) and banking domain knowledge.
. Good exposure to GenAI/Co-pilot.
**CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
