Responsibilities
Comfortably work on the production floor up to 50% of the time.Support quality processes within the facility by analyzing information and reporting research results.Communicate corrective actions and quality issues effectively both verbally and in writing.Specialize in one of the three focus areas: Receiving Inspection, In-process Inspection, or Final Inspection, while being capable of performing duties in all areas.Utilize Non-Conformance Reporting and Corrective Action Systems.Conduct inspections and tests, document, and report findings.Read specifications and part prints to interpret dimensional, physical, functional, and visual requirements.Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.Perform product identification and traceability activities as required.Collaborate with other personnel to resolve inspection questions.Document information electronically in various databases and internal programs.Conduct tests and quality checks on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.Ensure products meet standards, specifications, and tolerances.Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules.Perform and document First Article Inspections as needed.Audit, monitor, and report on compliance with internal and external Quality System requirements.Manage documentation for incoming materials and maintain inventory cycle counts.Follow-up on Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) and process Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) through completion.Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in an electronics or electro-mechanical setting.Proficiency in reading and interpreting BluePrints and engineering drawings.Experience with first piece, in-process, and final inspection processes.Ability to use quality measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, gages, oscilloscopes.Skill in performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.Experience with non-conformance reporting.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Naperville, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
