Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

The Quality Engineer will design and implement quality control procedures in areas such as design, manufacturing, and assembly to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. This role involves close collaboration with production teams to identify potential quality issues and develop effective solutions.

Responsibilities

Work closely with production teams to identify potential quality issues and develop solutions.Analyze data on quality metrics such as defect rates and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure that products are designed with quality in mind.Conduct audits and inspections of products and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Provide training to employees on quality control procedures and best practices.Work with suppliers to ensure that their products meet our quality standards.Participate in cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.Lead problem-solving initiatives using advanced root cause analysis and statistical techniques to drive long-term process improvements.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in CMM programming and vision systems.Knowledge of metrology and PCDMIS.Experience with programming using automated equipment.Familiarity with tight tolerances and industry standards.Must have experience in medical device or aerospace/defense industry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.3 years of experience in programming CMM and Vision Systems.Experience working in the medical device or aerospace/defense industry.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cranbury, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $52.00/hr.
