Our client, an assisted living chair lift design and manufacturing company, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Operations Team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in problem solving and process improvement. Implement corrective and preventative actions and verify outcomes. Strengths should include root cause analysis, strong ties to the manufacturing floor, maintaining detailed documentation including quality plans, inspection reports and training instructions. This position has a direct hire status IS NOT supporting visa sponsorships and currently is not open to candidates from outside of the Milwaukee metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities

Define quality standards, create inspection plans, develop test methods Implement statistical process control methods and techniques to monitor and control manufacturing processes Inspect raw materials, components, assemblies, and processes, either personally or utilizing Quality Technicians, to ensure that requirements are met Ensure calibration of gages and measuring equipment is complying and records are maintained Track performance data, analyze results, and generate reports to identify areas for improvementRequirements Bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, manufacturing, and a minimum of 3-years’ experience in Quality Certification to a recognized body of knowledge, such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer is preferred Work experience in the relevant areas, along with increasing responsibilities over time Problem solving, corrections, corrective action and project management Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) Quality Management Systems, such as ISO-9001 or ISO-13485Why should you choose Manpower Engineering?
