Description

•\tMonitor quality performance: metrics, trends, repeating issues, or causes of poor quality or rework

•\tPrepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data

•\tEnsuring processes adhere to quality standards

•\tDevelop or establish new standards and update existing standards

•\tDevelop written work instructions and procedures

•\tProvide input into work instructions, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing methods to ensure quality

•\tCustomer complaint handling

•\tCAPA RCA investigation to support managers for resolutions, and follow-ups to verify effectiveness

•\tReview supplier scorecards and monitor quality of workmanship

•\tWork with Purchasing to communicate supplier issues and issue corrective actions for nonconformances

•\tInternal and external audit support

•\tCollaborate with Manufacturing manager to develop and implement quality controls and improvements

•\tInvestigate and troubleshoot product or production “quality” issues

•\tReview codes, specifications, and processes

•\tAdhere to ISO and quality procedures

•\tWork effectively in a team environment

•\tPerform other duties as assigned by manager

•\tServe as a backup to the Quality Manager

Additional Skills & Qualifications

•\tBachelors in engineering

•\tProduction or engineering experience in a custom sheet metal fabrication business is desired

•\tFamiliarity with welding, fabrication, and machining specifications preferred

•\tAccurate manufacturing blueprint reading experience required

•\tKnowledge of metals and raw materials along with the understanding of production processes, and costs of manufacturing is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
