**Job Description:**
Parsons are seeking an experienced **Quality Director** to lead and oversee the quality management for a large infrastructure program. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality across all phases of the project, from planning through construction to handover. The Quality Director will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, ensuring that all workstreams meet or exceed the required standards, regulatory compliance, and client expectations.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 20 years of experience in quality management, with significant expertise in infrastructure development. This position demands exceptional leadership in quality assurance, risk management, and continuous improvement within a highly regulated environment.
**What You'll Be Doing;**
+ Lead the overall quality strategy for the infrastructure program, ensuring consistency and alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
+ Develop and implement the quality management framework, including policies, processes, and standards for all phases of the project.
+ Ensure that quality control and assurance activities are effectively integrated.
+ Oversee the program’s compliance with industry quality standards, local regulations, and international best practices.
+ Champion a culture of quality across the entire program, ensuring quality is embedded in all project activities from design through commissioning and handover.
+ Define and lead quality assurance activities for all deliverables, ensuring that project outputs meet safety, operational, and performance criteria.
+ Drive the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance quality performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness without compromising safety or compliance.
+ Ensure robust processes for inspecting, testing, and validating deliverables at every stage of the project lifecycle.
+ Collaborate with project teams to proactively address and resolve any quality issues, ensuring corrective actions are promptly implemented.
+ Manage quality-related risks by developing and implementing proactive risk mitigation strategies.
+ Oversee the resolution of quality issues and challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring that all non-conformances are effectively tracked and resolved.
+ Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant authority regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
+ Support senior leadership and stakeholders in understanding and mitigating potential quality-related risks impacting program delivery.
+ Provide leadership and direction to the quality team, ensuring that all team members are adequately resourced and empowered to meet program objectives.
+ Foster a high-performance team culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and results.
+ Act as the primary liaison for quality issues with clients, contractors, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
+ Ensure open and transparent communication across teams to align on quality expectations, delivery schedules, and performance metrics.
+ Prepare and deliver accurate, concise quality reports to senior stakeholders, including program leadership, the client, and regulatory authorities.
+ Ensure that all quality metrics, audits, and inspections are documented, with clear recommendations for improvements.
+ Provide strategic advice on quality risks and performance, ensuring clear communication of quality goals and issues to senior management.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
+ A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) is highly preferred.
+ Minimum 20 years of experience in quality management for large-scale infrastructure projects.
+ Proven experience in managing quality for complex projects with a large number of stakeholders.
+ Strong track record of success in delivering quality management within highly regulated industries, especially infrastructure.
+ In-depth knowledge of quality control systems, assurance processes, and risk management practices.
+ Strong understanding of infrastructure systems and their operational requirements.
+ Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
+ Ability to effectively engage with senior stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
+ Expertise in international quality standards (ISO, ASQ, etc.)
+ Experience in managing quality in complex, multi-disciplinary environments with high safety and regulatory requirements.
