Quality Verification and Standards (QVS)
Our Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) team is an integral part of our development process, consistently delivering actionable insights that support our game teams to optimize software performance and elevate gameplay. Their dedicated efforts ensure that we deliver cutting-edge entertainment experiences that captivate and inspire players and fans globally.
Our Quality Designer II will report to our Development Director from the EA India QV team. The job will be performed on site.
Your Responsibilities
Quality Strategy and Test Planning :
Ownership of quality strategies utilizing your expertise in software testing and automationDesign and apply strategies and processes to enhance quality throughout all teamsAccountable for the identification, escalation and mitigation of risks in your focus areas
Quality and Data Analysis
Interpret data from numerous sources to produce clear, relevant information, informing decisions to improve product quality and QA service deliveryTranslate project metrics into data-driven decisions and strategiesCollaboration and CommunicationWork with other team members and partners to solve problems and improve processesBe the QA representative in meetings, offering insights, leading quality discussions, sharing information, and identifying potential risksMentorship and Team SupportMentor and support team members in implementing quality strategiesLead improvements and knowledge sharing across teams
People/Talent Management
Manage, mentor and support QA team membersConduct performance reviews, support career development and ensure proper training
Our Requirements
Experience and Knowledge10+ years of experience in software development, quality assurance, or game designExperience planning and executing a test strategy and tasks using Scrum/agile processExperience with video gaming platforms, including Mobile.
Skills and Abilities
Analytical and problem-solving skillsProven ability to translate project metrics into data-driven decisions and strategiesExcellent collaboration and communication across disparate locations and cultures
