Ensure Product Safety and Quality – Quality Control (QC) Microbiology Analyst

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QC Microbiology Analyst to support microbiological testing in a fast-paced, FDA-regulated environment within the Medical Devices/Diagnostics industry. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with a background in microbiology or life sciences who are passionate about quality and compliance.

About the Role
As a QC Microbiology Analyst, you will perform microbiological testing on finished products, stability samples, and special test requests. You’ll work with microbial cultures, document results, and support investigations and audits. Your work will directly contribute to product safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Perform microbiological testing using aseptic techniques. Prepare and manipulate microbial cultures and stocks. Document test results in compliance with SOPs, GDP, GLP, GMP, and HSE standards. Support regulatory, customer, and internal audits by maintaining lab readiness. Enter data into LIMS and assist with system maintenance and validation. Participate in continuous improvement and maintain a clean, organized lab environment. Appropriately use PPE and follow safety protocols. Support investigations and document invalid test results. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related life science. Alternatively, a high school diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant experience in a regulated environment (GMP preferred), or an Associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience. Strong organizational and communication skills. Theoretical knowledge of microbiological techniques and quality principles. Ability to read and follow SOPs and assess safety/environmental risks. Preferred Qualifications Prior microbiological lab experience. Experience with sterile technique. Familiarity with LIMS and data entry tools. Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Pay Details: $26.94 per hour
