Quality Control Technician
Job Title: Quality Control TechnicianJob Description

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure precast concrete products meet internal standards, customer specifications, and applicable codes. This role works closely with production, engineering, and operations to maintain consistent quality and continuous improvement.

ResponsibilitiesPerform fresh concrete testing including slump, air content, temperature, and unit weight per ASTM standards.Conduct visual inspections of forms, reinforcing, embeds, and finished products.Document test results and production data accurately and timely.Verify compliance with project specifications, mix designs, and quality plans.Identify non-conforming products and communicate issues to production and management.Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.Maintain testing equipment and calibration records.Support plant audits, customer inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.Promote a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment.Essential SkillsExperience working with concrete finishing tools, masonry or construction materials.Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16”.Ability to read drawings and specifications.Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.Exposure to concrete dust, vibration, noise, and weather conditions.Requires standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and manual dexterity.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrecast concrete experience.Experience in precast, ready-mix, or construction materials testing preferred.Understanding of ASTM standards.Additional ACI, PCI, or testing certifications.Familiarity with mix designs, curing methods, and concrete performance testing.Basic computer and reporting skills.Why Work Here?

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
